The emergence of reality television shows has opened
up a plethora of opportunities for not only just the participating contestants
but also for those who are associated with them- mostly behind the scenes-especially
reality tv producers. Reality shows have become an ideal formula of earning
huge sum of money by engaging the audience with it but a lot of work goes
behind in materialize the concept into a successful show.
A reality tv producer plays a huge role in making a
reality tv show a success. Right from the selection of channel to broadcast the
show to choosing judges to sets to pre production to post production, reality
tv producers have to take care of all these things. They also have to take care
of their team, their crew and everyone to make sure that they all remain happy
and comfortable during the whole process of shooting to make the show a great
hit. In short, a reality tv producer has to take care of the show as a mother
so that the child, i.e. the show, grow into a success.

and marketing related issues to ensure that it would reach to its target
audience for which it is being developed. Getting sponsors in the form of large
corporate group is also a task that a reality tv producer has to perform to
create value for his show.

reality tv producers have to work on their show like a mother to make their
show a success.
